Magnetic Refrigerators
Compact. Robust. Modular.
kiutra’s cryostats are built around closed-cycle cryocoolers and use Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration (ADR) and continuous Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration (cADR) to make the full temperature range from room temperature to the sub-Kelvin regime accessible to our users. Our cooling solutions offer continuous and “one-shot” operation down to 300 mK and 100 mK, respectively. Thanks to the absence of cryogens in the cooling process, our devices are easy to use, robust and compact. Owing to their highly modular system architecture, ADR upgrades and various accessories such as free-beam optical access, DC and RF wiring options, or our proprietary ultra-fast sample changer can be chosen to configure the cryostat according to customer-specific requirements.

Webinar on Sub-Kelvin Refrigeration with kiutra Cryostats
In the webinar, we give a brief introduction to continuous Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration (cADR) and explain the implementation of this technique in our cryostats. After a short presentation of the key features of our products, we illustrate the operation of our L-Type Rapid cryostat and its ultra-fast sample loader by carrying out a simple resistivity measurement on a superconducting sample.
