S-Type Optical Systems at TUM

We are happy to report that our team recently installed two S-Type Optical systems at the Technical University of Munich.

The systems were installed in the lab of Andreas Reiserer, Professor of Quantum Networks, as part of the TransQNode research project of the MPI of Quantum Optics.

The BMBF-funded project was initiated to develop two compact, robust, and transportable quantum systems based on doped silicon crystals that fit into a 19-inch rack.
